ABOUT ME
As a general contractor with over 27 years of experience, I got my start helping friends and family back in the 1990's...
I got my start in the trades through painting, drywall, and a little bit of everything else. The pay was great for a kid, but what I loved most was being outdoors, working on different job sites across the city, meeting new people, and seeing all kinds of properties.
Fueled by ambition, I partnered with a friend and launched my first company. We painted residential and commercial projects all over Seattle, the Eastside, Tacoma, and everywhere in between.
That hands-on foundation eventually led me to start my own General Contracting business.
Over the years, I spent time working for real estate agents, brokers, and office managers, completing hundreds of work orders that stemmed from home inspections. Through roughly a thousand of these projects, I developed an in-depth understanding of exactly what home inspectors look for — and why — much of it grounded in safety or building code requirements and their practical application.
This experience naturally evolved into strong partnerships with investors. For nearly a decade now, I’ve focused almost exclusively on whole-house renovations, working with a select group of business partners and occasionally taking on larger projects for friends and colleagues in my network.
Today, my primary focus is transforming properties into high-performing Airbnb / short-term rentals and Adult Family Homes. These are comprehensive, ground-up remodels where I personally run the crews, manage subcontractors, control timelines and budgets, and deliver updated, modern, and highly desirable homes — whether the end goal is a profitable flip or a strong-performing short- or long-term rental.
I take pride in turning dated or tired properties into assets that stand out in today’s market — homes that are not only beautiful, but also functional, code-compliant, and built to generate excellent returns.
And it is with this work ethic that I approach every job for homeowners, not just having a great understanding of aesthetics, but also what parts of the home will net the best returns for owners as well as what things can be done to maximize the quality of life.
